Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Eyeshadow Tutorial
What’s in your makeup bag that you are loving right now?
It’s been about a year since we talked about our makeup favorites, so I thought we should revisit and update this post.
Makeup is definitely not my jam. When I was younger I wore very little. After 67 years, too many years in the ciuman, and acne scars we still have a love-hate relationship. I am sure you are far more skilled at makeup application than I am. Today, let’s share what is in your makeup bag
that you are loving right now.

You can find nearly all of my favorite makeup products in my Amazon storefront here. I know many of you like to do all of your shopping in one place. I am working on my other favorites as well. Of course I earn a small commission when you purchase through these links, with no extra cost to you. I appreciate your support so that I can continue to bring you good content.
WHAT’S IN YOUR MAKEUP BAG THAT YOU ARE LOVING RIGHT NOW

Let’s start with a foundation, or CC cream, or BB cream, or whatever in the heck you are using. I am currently using a mixture of
IT Cosmetics Your skin but Better Foundation
and
Bare Minerals. Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream. I would love to wear the Bare Minerals on its own but unfortunately, it doesn’falak offer me enough coverage at my age. I also really like the
Chanel Ultra Le Teint Velvet foundation.
However, it is quite pricey. I have opened an Amazon Store because I know many of you like ordering everything in one place.

Here are a couple of articles that might interest you if you are looking for something new.
NY Mag Best Foundations for Mature Skin
Allure 19 Best Foundation for Mature Skin
I have been researching foundations and have heard very good things about the
Georgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
(25%off on their website right now) and the
Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue.I think in my case the first might be the best option according to what I have read with my issues. I still have combination skin and will get the occasional pimple even at 67 yikes!! Would love to hear your thoughts if you are fans of either one.

Okay on to some of the products that are in my makeup bag that I love
(there aren’ufuk all that many I have to be honest).

I do absolutely love the
Chanel Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue
(their long-wearing lip color). I like the strawberry/red and the bright raspberry.
Sandra Sallin has a couple of tutorials on lipstick and she knows her stuff. She is over 70! You might enjoy her youtube tuntunan on how to keep lipstick from running here. Sandra and I did a live awhile back and I tried a few new lip colors. The Chanel is still far and away my favorite. It is pricey but worth it in my book. I know many of you are fans as well.

A new product that I am loving (recommended to me by Mary Ann of Classic Casual Home )is the
Sunday Riley C.E.O Glow Drops. I have never been able to put oil on my face without breaking out. This is a first. A couple drops under foundation gives just a bit of glow. Love this stuff and the smell!

I also love the
Lancome Artliner I do not have a steady hand (not from old age I never have!) You can apply it to the upper waterline of the eye and it doesn’n look too harsh.

Another product that I am in love with is the
Milk Makeup Lip and Cheek Tint in Pure Red. I love the color and it stays on! You can read my post on
The best blush for Mature Skin and How to Apply it here. I have tried all of the ones on my list and this is my very favorite. The coral color is nice as well. I think I need to try it too.

Now Let’s talk about makeup products I am on the hunt for.

I am still on the look out for the perfect bronzer. I used an inexpensive loreal eye shadow for years (yep you heard me), and it honestly worked very well before there were better products out there. You can read my post what to look for in bronzers for mature skin here. I have been using the bare minerals version (I like their products) but am titinada totally sold. Many of you (including my dear friend the Contessa) said in the comments of that post that you are using the Guerlain Terra Cotta and have been for years.

I noticed it recently won the Allure Best of Beauty award so I am going to give it a shot if I can figure out what shade to proyek! I love that the ingredients are 96% natural.
My hooded eyes are a challenge. I don’t have thinning brows, but darkness at the inner circles and hooded eyes. How to apply eye makeup to hooded eyes? People always ask why I wear sunglasses in my outdoor photos. It’s simple. I look like I have my eyes closed if I don’t.
Sandra attempted to teach berpenyakitan how to apply eye makeup to my hooded eyes here.
Kerry Lou of Silver Style Studio has a series where she is applying makeup to mature women, and
how to apply eye makeup on hooded eyes. I wish I lived near her. I would love to take some classes from her. Angie from Hot and Flashy has some good eye makeup tutorials on Youtube as welhttps://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=angie+hot+and+flashy+eyesl. I
have to say I enjoy the tutorials most that are actually performed on mature women. Please share any that you have enjoyed.

Makeup is constantly evolving. Thank you for being here and reading What’s in Your Makeup Bag That You are Loving Right Now. Now it is your turn. Please share your favorites and what has worked for you. I will be back on Thursday sharing mocktails and cocktails with Annie & Mary Ann and the gang. You won’lengkung langit want to miss the fun.
