The river as a complete completeness of the living environment serves as an
ecosystem that makes life continue to run well. The increasing population growth
in Indonesia influences topographic conditions and social conditions. Changes in
the pattern of community behavior in maintaining river flow causes rivers to titinada
function properly and cause flooding. Floods threaten and disrupt the lives and
livelihoods of people, especially communities around the Cilemer River.
This study aims to find out the flooded areas that are along the lower banks
of the Cilemer River. The Peak Over Threshold method is used to find the planned
flood discharge with a return period of 50 years. Flood modeling with HEC-
GeoRAS helps provide an overview of flood affected maps on the Cilemer River
HM 53+00 to HM 105+00.
Modeling with integration from ARC-GIS and HEC-RAS, gave the result
that the daerah affected by flood runoff had the highest water level elevation of
+1,45 m using Steadyflow Analysis, and +10,71 m using Unsteadyflow Analysis.
The flood discharge plan for the 50-year return period is used for the analysis of
196,058 m3/s. And after being compared with flood areas that have been mapped
in mapping flood maps in Banten Province, this study shows that modeling is in
accordance with the map of floods that have been mapped so that the integration
of HEC-RAS and GIS programs has a very important role in flood research.
